Boston Nursing Care & Consulting is seeking nursing students who have completed their Fundamentals of Nursing class and are interested in the home care space! Our Home Health Assistants are driven, kind, honest and hard working individuals who seek to provide dignified healthcare in a community based environment.
Our Home Health Assistants are nursing students, pre-med and pre-PA students. Why is that? It is because we want our clients to be cared for by those who have a passion for lifelong learning, have a strong clinical background, and who can anticipate/react to emergencies immediately.
For our nursing students, upon graduation of their RN degree, they will have the option to progress into a Home Health RN. (So long as they are in good standing with Boston Nursing Care & Consulting)
New employees will receive training in American Heart Association BLS CPR and First Aid. They will also complete training in dementia care, memory care, post stroke care, brain injury care, and ADLs.
We are calling on those who want to serve others in medicine, without the rigid schedule that all too often comes along with hospital and other healthcare jobs. CEO Kaitlin McCarthy is a Neuro ICU RN and has built this company on the idea that nurses and healthcare providers should LOVE their job.
